Glosira for F-Droid ================== Glosira is a language-learning service with character-led grammar lessons, vocabulary practice, reading, writing, stories and dialogues. This repository contains the native Android client. The learning interface and course content are loaded from https://app.glosira.com; they are not bundled in this APK. An Internet connection and a working Glosira service are required. Start here ---------- 1. BUILDING.txt: exact tools, commands and unsigned APK location. 2. It uses a separate application ID so it can coexist with com.glosira.app from the website or Google Play. Login state, permissions and local storage are separate. Sign in to the same Glosira account to access that account's server-side progress. F-Droid signs the unsigned release APK with its own key. No private signing material, server credentials, API subscription or developer account is needed to build. The website's remote configuration and forced APK updater are absent from this variant. Install updates through the repository that supplied it. Before submission: - The owner must approve the source and artwork licenses (see LICENSING.txt). - Render the metadata with the public repository URL and approved license. - Tag the reviewed, licensed sources and verify a clean checkout builds. - Submit the metadata to F-Droid for review; acceptance is not guaranteed. User-Agent identification ------------------------- The system WebView user-agent ends with: glosiraapp5 GlosiraFdroid/1.0.4 The existing glosiraapp marker preserves Android app detection. GlosiraFdroid/ identifies this distribution in server logs. The offline screen has no visible words: Polly, an offline icon and a retry button. The arrow spins during a retry. TalkBack descriptions are translated into English, Russian, Spanish, Portuguese, French and Turkish.
